Calhoun GA Grappling Club
A local jiu-jitsu gym needed more than a brochure site. Nth Theory built the website, the lead and booking automation behind it, and the AI touchpoints around it as one system.

The problem
Gyms live and die by trial classes. Every inquiry that slips through a missed call, a failed booking, or a form nobody checks is a member who never walks in. The club needed to be found by Calhoun families searching for jiu-jitsu, and every interested visitor needed to turn into a captured, followed-up lead.
What we built
A Next.js website built around local search
Schedule, programs, instructors, and contact pages; a contact FAQ with 14 answered questions; dedicated pages for kids' jiu-jitsu in Calhoun and college-bound self-defense; and a blog of 16 articles (as of October 2026) answering the questions parents and beginners actually ask, including cost, first class, and an Adairsville locator guide.
Structured data and technical SEO
JSON-LD for the gym (SportsActivityLocation), FAQ pages, and blog posts (BlogPosting); a generated sitemap and robots file; per-post canonical and social tags; and real 404 responses for unknown URLs.
Trial-class booking that captures the lead first
The trial-class wizard records the inquiry as a lead in the Nth Agency OS before it books the class through the Cal.com API, then reports whether the booking succeeded. A booking-system outage leaves the lead captured and flagged for follow-up. Each submission carries an idempotent ID, page and campaign attribution (UTM, gclid, fbclid), and an audit row in Google Sheets for reconciliation.
Inbound voice-agent phone line
The gym's published number, (706) 925-7390, is used site-wide and routes to an inbound voice-agent line.
Fight IQ: an interactive lead magnet
A roughly one-minute pixel-art self-defense scenario that scores decision-making, position, control, and composure. Scoring is recomputed on the server, and players can opt in to an emailed breakdown, which becomes a consented lead.
First-party analytics on every route
Nth Theory's first-party analytics script records page views across the site, including client-side navigations that a single page-view tag would miss.
Still iterating
The system keeps shipping: Fight IQ graphics overhauls, new answer-first blog posts, and booking-flow hardening landed in August and September 2026. Measured results will be published here once there is enough data to report honestly.
